Sunday Dinner Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 5 lb. potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • 1 cup (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (softened)
  • 3 TBS butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp onion salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Place potatoes in a Dutch oven. Cover with water. Cover and bring to boil. Cook 20 to 25 minutes or until very tender. Drain well. In a large mixing bowl, mash potatoes. Add sour cream, cream cheese, 2 TBS butter, salt, onion salt and pepper; beat until fluffy. Transfer to a greased 2-quart baking dish. Dot with remaining butter. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
