Ingredients
- Chicken:
- 1 Quart Buttermilk
- 1 to 2 Tbsp hot red pepper sauce
- 1 to 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 12 to 14 drumsticks
- Coating:
- 1 cup panko crumbs
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 2 tsp regular or sweet paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- Cooking spray
Preparation
Step 1
prepare the chicken:
In a large bowl, mix buttermilk, hot pepper sauce, paprika and salt
Add drumsticks, cover and refrigerate overnight
Preheat oven to 375 F
Grease a large baking sheet (cooking spray)
In a shallow container combine panko crumbs, salt, paprika, onion and garlic powders and pepper
Using tongs, remove the drumsticks from the merinade
Dredge in the crumb mixture
Place on prepared baking sheet
Spray the top of the chicken with cooking spray
Bake until golden brown, 45 minutes to one hour
