Mac & Cheese - One pot

By

Cook with milk so no draining noodles! Make it all in one pot. If you use a pot that can go in the oven, you can bake for bit with some extra cheese and crushed Ritz on top - yum!

  • salt & pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Bring the milk almost to a boil.
Add pasta and cook per directions.
The milk will reduce quite a bit during this time, so keep an eye on it and stir.
Remove from the heat.
Stir in butter and cheese.
Stir in salt & pepper to taste.

At this point you can be done. Or, if you want to take a little extra step, put the mac & cheese in a pan that can go in the oven (if it isn't already).
Add some more cheese on top. (I used mozzerella.)
Crush some Ritz crackers on top.
Put under the broiler for 5 mins or just bake for 5-10 min at 350.
