Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey / chicken
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 2 (14 1/z oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 8oz can tomato sauce
- 5 cups beef stock
- 4 cups green cabbage, chopped
- black pepper to taste
- 1 cup brown rice, cooked
Preparation
Step 1
In a large dutch oven, over medium heat, cook ground meat, onion, garlic, paprika and thyme with 1/4 tsp salt. Cook until meat is cooked. Add remaining ingredients, except rice. Bring to boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 35 minutes or until cabbage is cooked. Add rice, simmer 5 minutes and serve.
