Ingredients
- 3 cup Buttermilk
- 3 cups Flour
- 1 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/3 cup Oil
- 2 Tbsp Cocoa
- 2 tsp Baking Soda
- 3/4 cup Hazelnuts (chopped)
Preparation
Step 1
STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease 15 x10″ cake pan.
STEP 2: In a large bowl mix together buttermilk, flour, sugar, oil, cocoa and baking soda. Make sure everything is well combined. Fold in hazelnuts and pour the cake batter into greased pan.
STEP 3: Bake for 35-40 minutes or until toothpicks comes out clean.
STEP 4: Cool in the pan for 15 minutes before removing it onto cooling rack.
You frost the cake with Chocolate Ganache & roasted hazelnuts for the decadent look or you can just dust it with powdered sugar for everyday dessert.
