Cinnamon Roll or Raisin Bread Dough
- 1 Cup Crisco
- 1 Cup Boiling Water (Pour over Crisco)
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 beaten eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- Soften 2 packets yeast in 1 cup warm water
- Stir in 6 cups unsifted flour
- This is a batter type consistency
Mix all ingredients together.
Cover and refrigerate over night (or at least 3 hours)
Remove portion you want to use. Roll out brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with mixture of sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up and cut into rolls and place in
Oblong cake pan. Cover and let rise overnight. Bake in 375 oven about 25 minutes.
Let cool slightly and glaze with powdered sugar, vanilla & water glaze.
