Macaroni Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C uncooked macaroni
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 can (30 oz) fruit cocktail
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 Cool Whip

Preparation

Step 1

Cook macaroni. Blend cornstarch and 1 Tbsp sugar in saucepan. drain fruit cocktail, reserving 1/2 cup of syrup. Stir reserved syrup and lemon juice into cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Boil 1 minute. Pour over macaroni and mix well. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours. Before serving, fold cool whip and fruit cocktail in.
