- 6 large ripe tomatoes
- 1 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Pepper
- 1 tbsp. Basil
- 1/2 c. Olive oil
- 3 tsp. Chopped garlic

Step 1
Core, peel and chop 6 large ripe tomatoes place chopped tomatoes in large bowl and season with 1 ½ tsp. Salt and ½ tsp. Pepper. Mix 1 tbsp. Basil, ½ c. Olive oil, 3 tsp. Chopped garlic into tomatoes and marinate 1-2 hours garlic into tomatoes and marinate 1-2 hours at room temp. Toast 6 1- in slices rustic bread and rub with extra garlic half. Use slotted spoon to heap tomatoes onto each toast. Serve immediately.
