Ingredients

  • 1/2 red onion, chopped
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp chili powder, to taste
  • 1 14 oz. can kidney beans
  • 1 tomato, diced tomato
  • 1 package cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 avocados, sliced
  • 1 package tortilla chips
  • 1 head lettuce
  • 3/4 cup Catalina or Russian salad dressing, Reduced calorie
  • Servings: 6

Preparation

Step 1

1. Brown ground beef, season with salt & pepper and chili powder. In large bowl combine all remaining ingredients, add lettuce last. A whole head will probably not be required. Toss with salad dressing. I always use Russian, however Catalina or French are suppose to go well too.
