Bacon-Wrapped Water Chestnuts

Ingredients

  • Marinade:
  • 1/4 C vegetable oil
  • 1/4 C soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1-2 cans whole water chestnuts
  • 1 pkg bacon, sliced into thirds
  • 1 C brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Marinate water chestnuts overnight in marinade. Wrap bacon around water chestnuts and secure with toothpick. Roll in brown sugar. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 375 until browned.
