Fat Free Three Bean Salad

I usually add Kidney Beans to the mix for color. I also add a rib of finely chopped celery as well as fresh parsley if I have it on hand. The longer it sits the better it tastes!

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • 3 Tbs chicken broth
  • 2 Tbs white grape juice
  • 2 Tbs sugar
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 8 oz. can wax beans
  • 1 8 oz. can green beans
  • 1 8 oz. can red kidney beans
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a small bowl stir together the ingredients for the dressing. In a large bowl, mix remaining ingredients and toss well. Add the dressing and stir to cover. Cover and chill 4-24 hours to blend the flavors, stirring often.
