Ingredients
- 6 Cups of Bisquick Baking Mix
- 1 1/2 Cups Sour Cream
- 1 1/2 Cups 7UP or Sprite or Lemon Lime Soda Freshly Opened!
- 1 Cup Melted Butter
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt butter . Pour ½ Cup of the melted butter into 9x13 glass dish or deep pan and coat pan evenly with the butter.
In large bowl “gently” mix Bisquick with sour cream using a pastry blender or large spoon. Add soda and gently finish mixing. Dough will be very soft. Tip: You don’t want to over mix the dough or it won’t rise. You want it to be nice and light and fluffy so use freshly opened soda.
Pour dough into the pan and spread evenly in the pan. Generously brush the top of the dough with about ¼ cup of melted butter reserving ¼ cup of melted butter.
Using a large spatula dip spatula in remaining reserved butter and create indentations across the top of the dough to create square biscuits in whatever size you want.
Bake for about 15 minutes. Pull biscuits and brush tops of biscuits with remaining reserved butter. Place back in oven and finish baking about another 5 minutes or until golden brown on top.
Let cool for about 10 minutes.
Cut along indentations into servings.
