Ingredients
- Nutritional analysis is figured with the estimated amount of marinade that will cling and/or be absorbed by the shrimp.
- 2 lb fresh shrimp tails on
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp salt (maybe lower this to 1/2 tsp. 3/2/2012)
- 3 Tbs parsley, chopped
- 1 Tbs basil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbs ketchup
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 Tbs red wine vinegar

- Tips
- Use 2 skewers for each row of shrimp. If you don't they will spin on you when you try to turn them and you will go nuts trying to get the uncooked side down! Not funny when you have such a small amount of cooking time!!
- Lay them in a row on a dinner plate, facing the same direction about the length of your skewer and insert the skewer on one side of the shrimp, and then insert the second skewer in the other side
- Go easy on the salt. Found it a bit on the salty side last time I made it. Old age?!?

Preparation
Step 1
1. Shell and devein shrimp, leaving tails on. Combine marinade ingredients. Add shrimp and marinate for 2-3 hours. Remove from the marinade and thread on skewers. Grill 3 mins, basting with marinade. Turn and grill 5 mins more, basting several times. Serve with steamed white or brown rice and a green vegetable
