Ingredients

  • ½ cup Olive/salad oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, sliced
  • 2 med Onion
  • 3 slcd Green peppers
  • 3 slcd Red peppers
  • 2 Tbsn Red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • ½ tsp Oregano leaves
  • 8 Veal cutlets ¼ thick
  • 1/3 cup Flour
  • Butter or margarine

Step 1

In hot oil cook garlic til brown, discard and add onions and peppers, cook 2 min. stir in vinegar, basil, oregano, 1 tsp salt, ¼ tsp pepper. Reduce heat to medium cover and cook 10 min, with spoon remove vegetables to medium bowl and keep warm, with meat mallet pound cutlets tiil 1/8 “ thick, sprinkle w ½ tsp salt and ¼ tsp pepper, on wax paper coat cutlets with flour, in skillet melt 3 Tbsn buter, cook meat until brown, when veal is cooked arrange meat with peppers and onions on warm platter or skillet
