Lemon Bars

Though not called for in the original recipe, I add the zest of one lemon to the topping. I think this may just be the "secret ingredient" that makes these taste so special
Ingredients
- FOR THE BASE:
- 2 cup flour
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- FOR THE FILLING:
- 4 eggs well beaten
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 3 Tbs flour
- 2 cup sugar
- Zest of one lemon
Preparation
Step 1
1. Mix flour, margarine and sugar together and spread in a 9x13 greased pan. Bake 15 mins. at 350F. Meanwhile, mix remaining ingredients and pour over the top of the baked crust. Bake 25 mins. at 350F. Cool and dust with Powdered Sugar and cut into bars.

Tips
