Pancakes****

Good buttermilk pancakes would always be my first choice, when I don't have buttermilk the first recipe is a "Go To"...half amounts given for small batch.

Ingredients

  • Combine the wet ingredients in a second bowl, whisk:
  • 2 cups flour (1 c)
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder (1 1/2 ts)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (1/2 ts)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (2 T)
  • 2 cups milk (1 c)
  • 2 eggs (1)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter (2T 2ts)

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp fine salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk (Kate's)
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 beaten eggs

Directions for either recipe are the same-

In a large bowl, stir together dry ingredients. Make a well in the center and pour wet ingredients; mix until smooth.
