Ingredients
- 4-5 lbs flat cut brisket
- 1 chopped onion (diced)
- 1-2 cups carrots (diced)
- 3 potatoes cut into slices
- 1 small jar of tomato sauce
- 1 bottle of Heinz Chili sauce
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 cup water
Preparation
Step 1
Brown brisket in oil a few minutes each side until lightly browned
Drain and remove brisket and place in crockpot
Add carrots, onions and potatoes
In a bowl, mix together tomato sauce, chili sauce, water and brown sugar
Pour on top and start crockpot
Cook for 6-8 hours or until brisket can be pulled apart easily.
