Apple-Cranberry Crisp

Ingredients

  • 1 lb apple, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbs flour
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 Tbs butter, softened

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix apples, cranberries and nuts in 8 inch square pan. sprinkle with granulated sugar. Combine brown sugar, oats, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter. Mix with fingers till crumbly. Sprinkle topping evenly over the apples. Bake at 350F 25-35 mins or until apples are tender and top is crisp. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve with Vanilla Ice Cream or whipped Cream.
