Coconut Jelly Squares

A Newfoundland favorite...especially at Christmas! DELISH!

Ingredients

  • 1 day old square white cake
  • 2 pkgs jellow, red or green
  • fine coconut
  • 1 pk dream whip
  • candied cherries

Preparation

Step 1

prepare jello according to pkg directions and let set slightly. Cut cake into squares and dip in jello and then roll in coconut.

Whip dream whip and add a dollop to top of each jello coconut square. Place a piece of cherry on top of dream whip. Refrigerate until jello sets.
