Sweet and Spicey Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 3 C Rice cooked and cooled completely
  • 1/2 C Chopped Bell Peppers (Red, yellow and orange mixed)
  • 1 C Sliced Carrots
  • 1/4 C Diced Onion
  • 2 C Shredded Cabbage
  • 2 eggs room temperature
  • Sesame Oil
  • 1/4 C Dales
  • 1/4 C Sesame Oil
  • 1/4 C Brown Sugar
  • 1 T crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 T ground ginger
  • 4 glugs tabasco sauce

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, heat 2 T sesame oil. Add carrots. After 2 minutes, add onion. After two more minutes add bell peppers and cabbage. Cook for an additional two minutes. Move vegetables to one side of the skillet. Add 2 more tablespoons Sesame Oil to the clear side of skillet and then add the cold rice. Do not stir rice for three minutes. Add sauce to rice then mix everything together. Let cook, flipping, not stirring, until liquid is almost completely absorbed. At this time, make two holes within the mixture. Crack one egg in each. Once the whites of the eggs start to harden mix into the rice. Continue to cook for two additional minutes.
