Ingredients

  • 3 lbs fresh cod fillets
  • 3 cups potatoes - thinly sliced
  • 2 cups carrots - thinly sliced
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 cups boiled water
  • 1 cup cream
  • salt pork
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Render out pork, remove pork and saute onion in oil, add potatoes and carrot and water, simmer until tender. Cut up fish and add to vegetables - simmer for 15 minutes. Lower temperature and add milk and cream. Do not let come back to a boil.

You can add other seafood if you like.

Best if made the day before eating for flavors to develop.
