Pie Crust Dough

Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 C All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 sticks very cold unsalted butter in 1" pieces
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 C ice water

Preparation

Step 1

Add flour, butter and salt and mix until coarse meal, about 8 seconds.

Add ice water and pulse until dough begins to clump together.

Divide into 3 equal parts and put into plastic bag.

Work through bag to press dough together into ball then a flat disk.

Refrigerate 1 hour.
