You have to give these Margaritaville Nachos a try, you won't be disappointed. They're by far the best I've ever had!
- 1 cup Tostitos Salsa Con Queso cheese sauce
- 1 cup chili (optional)
- 1 1/4 cups cheddar and monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 1 small tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup green onion, sliced
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 12 thin slices canned jalapeno.
- Lots of high quality nacho chips
Preparation time 10mins
Cooking time 20mins
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Arrange one layer of nachos in an oven safe ceramic plate or whatever else you normally use for nachos.
Layer on half of the Tostitos cheese sauce. Add another layer of tortillas and then the rest of the cheese sauce. Add a final layer of tortillas and then cover with the chili and the shredded cheese.
Bake for about 8 minutes – the cheese should be starting to bubble.
Remove and pile on the tomatoes and green onions. Use a spoon or ice cream scoop to position scoops of guacamole and sour cream on top. Sprinkle the jalapeno slices over the sour cream and guacamole.
