Fettuccin With Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb fettuccine noodles
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons Gulden's Spicy Brown Mustard
  • Freshly ground white or black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese,divided
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons snipped to garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Cook noodles in large saucepan of lightly salted boiling water until just.tender.While noodles are cooking,melt butter in medium-size saucepan.Add cream and stir until blended.Stir in sour cream,mustard,pepper,and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.Cook over low heat,stirring,until sauce is heated tyhrough and cheese ia melted.Remove from heat and stir in remaining 1/4 cup Parmasan cheese.Drain noodles and rinse out pan.Pour half of hot sauce into pan.Return noodles to pan and toss.Spoon onto individual serving plates.Spoon remaining sauce over and garnish with chives.Serve immediatly.
