Cranberry-Pear Spiced Sundae

Ingredients

  • 2 C Fresh Cranberries Washed
  • 1 Large Bartlett Pear Peeled, Quartered & Sliced Thin
  • 1 T Butter
  • 1/3 C Sugar
  • 1 t Ground Cinnamon
  • Zest of One Orange
  • Juice of One Orange
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Gingersnap Cookies

Preparation

Step 1

Medium Saucepan, Medium Heat, Add Butter, Juice, Sugar & Cinnamon. Cook Until Butter Melted & All Blended.

Add Cranberries, Pears & Zest. Cook Stirring Often, Until Fruit Has Softened And Liquid Reduced, 10-15 Minutes.

Transfer to Bowl, Cover & Chill.

Serve With Ice Cream on Top & Cookie.
