Figs and Prosciutto

  • 12 figs
  • 6 oz Gorgonzola
  • 2 T. walnuts
  • 1/2 c parsley
  • 6 oz prosciutto

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450

In the top of each fig, cut an X shape, leaving them intact at the base. Place on an uncreased baking sheet and gently open.

In a small bowl, add he cheese, walnuts and parsley and mix. Using a spoon, stuff each fig with 1 T filling. Bake for 8-10 min.

On serving plates, arrange 3 to 4 slices of prosciutto. Place 3 figs in center of each plate, sprinkle with remaining walnuts and serve warm.
