Ingredients
- In a food processor:
- 1 1/2 c cilantro
- 1 2/3 c parsley
- 1 jalapeno chile, seeded and ribs removed
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 c olive oil
- 1 TBS lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
Preparation
Step 1
Pulse twice or until coarsely chopped. With machine running add 1/2 cup olive oil, in a steady stream, processing until smooth. Transfer the pesto to a small serving bowl, and stir in 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice and 1/4 tsp salt.
