Ingredients
- 1/2 c unsaled butter, room temperature
- 1 c sugar
- 1 egg, room temperature
- 1 c mashed bananas, approx. 2 1/2 large ones
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 c flour
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1 c pecans (walnuts and chocolate chips work well too)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
Cream together butter and sugar til light and fluffy
Add egg blend in
In a seperate bowl mash bananas and baking soda. Let sit for 2 minutes
Add banana mixture to flour mixture. Wmix well
Mix together flour, salt and spices and siftit into the batter. Mix only til blended
Fold in pecans ( and or chocolate chips and walnuts
Drop in dollops onto parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Bake 11 - 13 minutes or until nicely golden brown
Let cool on wire racks
