Ingredients
- 3 egg, beaten
- 2 cup milk
- 1 ⁄2 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ⁄2 tsp salt
- 3 cup white rice, cooked
- 1 ⁄3 cup raisins
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Add beaten eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt to a large bowl and mix well to combine. Stir in rice and raisins. Pour mixture into a 10 x 6 x 2 inch baking dish.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Stir pudding and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake for an additional 30 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between the edge and the center comes out clean.
