Honey Chex Mix

Ingredients

• 1/3 cup margarine
• 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 6 cups Crispix cereal
• 1 cup mini-pretzel twists
• 1 cup salted mixed nuts
• Vegetable cooking spray

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan coated with cooking spray, combine Crispix cereal, pretzels, and mixed nuts. Set aside.
2. In large saucepan, over medium heat, combine margarine, sugar, and honey. Bring mixture to a boil, and continue to boil for 5 minutes. Do not stir. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour syrup over cereal mixture, stirring until well coated.
3. Bake at 250 degrees for about 1 hours, stirring every 15 minutes. Let cool on cookie sheets. Store in airtight container
