REFRIGERATOR SHEET CAKE

Ingredients

  • Cake:
  • 1 cake mix (yellow or white)
  • 1 small package jello
  • 3/4 cup boiling water
  • Frosting:
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1-8 oz carton cool whip
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cake:
1. Bake cake as directed.
2. Poke deep holes 1/2-1" apart in cake.
3. Dissolve jello in 3/4 cup boiling water, add 1/2 cup cold water. Pour over top of cake.

Frosting:
Mix together the cool whip and pudding. Stir in vanilla.
Frost cake and refrigerate.
