Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 onion, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, stems removed
- 2 serrano chiles (Remove seeds or not, depending on the amount of heat you prefer)
- 1 15 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups tortilla chips
Preparation
Step 1
Place all ingredients into saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Let cool slightly and blend with an immersion blender. Bring back to a boil. Place chips in a large bowl. Pour sauce over chips and toss until coated. Divide onto individual plates. Serve each with an egg on top. Garnish with black beans, avocado, cheese, sour cream.
