Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground meat (lean)
  • 1 full stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 pound baby carrots, sliced
  • 1 small to medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 (14 to 15-ounce) can sweet whole corn, drained
  • 1 (14 to 15-ounce) can cut green beans, drained
  • 2 (14 to 15-ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (1-ounce) package McCormick's Taco seasoning mild
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • Salt, Pepper, garlic to taste
  • 1 stick of butter optional

Preparation

Step 1

Cook ground beef, drain and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper

In a larger pot, add:
ground meat
sliced baby carrots
sliced/chopped celery
1 can sweet corn (drained)
1 can cut green beans (drained)
chopped onion
2 cans of stewed tomatoes with can juice
2 cups water
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 -1 package of McCormick's Mild Taco Seasoning
garlic

Mix ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 2 hours.

In each bowl add a thick pad of butter then the stew and mix
