Ingredients
- 2 CUP SUGAR
- 1/2 CUP BUTTER OR MARGARINE
- 1/2 CUP COCOA
- 2 EGGS-ROOM TEMP
- 2 CUPS FLOUR
- 1/2 CUP BUTTER MILK
- 1 CUP BOILING WATER
- 1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
- 1 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT PINCH SALT
Preparation
Step 1
1. CREAM SUGAR AND BUTTER OR (MARGARINE)
2. BEAT IN ROOM TEMP EGGS
3. SIFT TOGETHER FLOUR , COCOA, AND PINCH SSALT
4. ADD ALTERNATING FLOUR MIXTURE AND BUTTER MILK
5. BRING WATER TO BOIL IN MICROWAVE , ADD SODA TO WATER TO DISSOLVE
6. ADD SODA AND WATER MIXTURE TO BATTER AND BEAT TIL MIXED.
BATTER WILL BE THIN
7. GREASE AND DUST WITH FLOUR 2 8 OR 9 INCH ROUND PANS OR 9X13 PAN
8. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 30- 35 MINUTES
COOL IN PAN
