Ingredients
- 1 cup popcorn for popping
- for caramel -
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- scant 1/4 cup water
- 1 pound bittersweet chocolate tempered
Preparation
Step 1
pop the popcorn
place sugar, corn syrup and water in a 2 quart heavy bottomed saucepan over medium heat and cook till golden brown.
stir popcorn into caramel
poor onto parchment paper and allow to cool
when cool, use hands to break up lumps.
place cool popcorn in a bowl and use a ladle to drizzle chocolate till coated. poor onto parchment paper to cool
