Coffee Marshmallow Sauce (for gingerbread?)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup hot, strong coffee
  • 1/4 lb. mini marshmallows
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Chopped nuts - optional garnish.

Preparation

Step 1

Melt marshmallow in coffee -- add salt and cinnamon. Refrigerate.

Beat cream.
Fold into chilled coffee/marshmallow mixture.


Serve on hot gingerbread.
Sprinkle with nuts.
