Ingredients

  • 2 ears of corn
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced and smashed into paste
  • 1/4 t. parsley flakes
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine the butter, garlic paste, parsley, salt and pepper. Use a fork to mash and stir until thoroughly combined. Set aside.

If corn is still in husk: Place in microwave and cook for 5 minutes. Using a towel, remove the corn from the microwave. Cut off the stem end of the corn. Using the towel, squeeze the ear of corn out of the husk.

If corn has been shucked: Heat a pot of water to boiling; add salt and the corn. Cook for 3 minutes or until the corn is bright yellow and slightly softened. Drain the water.

Melt the garlic herb butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat, add the corn and toss to thoroughly coat.
