Ingredients
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup bourbon or whiskey
- 3 TBSP cider vinegar
- 3 TBSP molasses
- 2 TBSP worcestershire
- 1 TBSP dijon mustard
- 11/2 tsp liquid smoke
- 1/2 tsp Tabasco
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients in saucepan and whisk together
Slowly bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat and cook gently until thick and flavourful, about 10 minutes.
Makes 2 cups
It will keep in the fridge for several weeks
