Stuffed Peppers


Bell peppers stuffed with ground meat, onions and marinara sauce makes a great meal everyone loves.

  • Bell peppers, different colors
  • Meat, chopped
  • Ground chicken
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Onion and garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked rice

Step 1

Cut and clean peppers.

In a bowl, add jar of marinara sauce, juice of lemon, brown sugar and some of the chopped onions and garlic.

In a separate bowl, add the meat, some rice, 1/2 of the dry spices, some sauce and the balance of chopped onions and garlic.

Stuff peppers with meat mixture, place in pressure cooker. Pour some sauce over top and cook for 10 minutes.

Remove from pressure cooker and place peppers in cooking dish and pour remaining sauce over peppers, bake in 350°F oven for 20 minutes.
