Ingredients

  • 8 bone in chicken thighs (about 3 1/2 lbs)
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1/2 cup dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp hot paprika
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2 chopped scallion (optional)

Step 1

place chicken in a single layer in a baking dish. whisk together ketchup, mustard, honey, vinegar, oil, garlic powder, paprika, hot paprika, onion powder, black pepper and worcestershire sauce in a bowl. pour dressing over chicken, let stand at least 30 mins on the counter or up to overnight in the fridge. preheat the grill to medium.

remove the chicken from dish; discard marinade. place thighs, skin side down on grill, and grill, uncovered until char marks appear about 10mins.

reduce temp to low and turn thighs over. grill, uncovered, until cooked through, 15 to 20mins. transfer to a platter, sprinkle with scallions.
