Herbed Goat Cheese Dip

Ingredients

  • 3 cream, 3 tablespoons
  • 6 cheese, 6 ounces crumbled
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup snipped fresh herbs (such as oregano thyme, rosemary, dillweed, and/or oregano)
  • 1 1 1 Shallot, minced
  • 1-2 peel, 1-2 teaspoons
  • One clove One clove garlic, minced
  • to and freshly ground peppercorns, to taste
  • to cream, if desired to thin
  • Baguette slices, toasted or
  • Fresh Vegetables

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium chilled bowl beat 3 tablespoons whipping cream until thickened. Stir in 6 ounces crumbled goat cheese, 1/4 cup snipped fresh herbs (such as oregano thyme, rosemary, dillweed, and/or oregano), a minced shallot, a couple of teaspoons lemon peel, and a clove of minced garlic. Stir to combine. Season to taste with sea salt and freshly ground peppercorns. thin with additional cream, if desired. Serve on toasted baguette slices.
