Ingredients

  • For Icing:
  • 1 lb. white bread dough
  • 2 tbsp. melted butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 tbsp. softened butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

1. Thaw bread dough
2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a 6 x 12 inch rectangle. Brush with melted butter
3. Blend together sugar, cinnamon, and raisins. Sprinkle evenly over the rectangle.
4. Roll up tightly, starting with the 6 inch side of the rectangle. Pinch seam to seal
5. Cut into 8 slices. Place cut side up in an 8 inch greased baking pan or 8 cupcake pans
6. Cover and let rise at room temperature until double in size
7. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown
8. Remove from pan when cool

To make Icing: combine powdered sugar, milk, butter, and vanilla extract. Blend together until smooth. Frost rolls
