Roast Turkey in Foil

  • 12 lb. turkey, thawed
  • Butter
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1 t. thyme
  • 1 t. basil
  • salt & pepper



Step 1

Rub inside of turkey's cavity with salt and pepper; rub the skin with butter. Wrap turkey in foil, pouring wine, brandy and herbs over turkey before closing the foil tight. Roast turkey in 400 degree oven for 3 1/2 hours.

Fold foil back and roast for 30 minutes or until turkey is brown.
