Ingredients

  • 12

    lb. turkey, thawed

  • Butter

  • ¼

    cup dry white wine

  • ¼

    cup brandy

  • 1

    t. thyme

  • 1

    t. basil

  • salt & pepper

Directions

Rub inside of turkey's cavity with salt and pepper; rub the skin with butter. Wrap turkey in foil, pouring wine, brandy and herbs over turkey before closing the foil tight. Roast turkey in 400 degree oven for 3 1/2 hours. Fold foil back and roast for 30 minutes or until turkey is brown.
