Ingredients
- 2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp pineapple juice
- pinch ground red pepper
- 1 8-9lb fully cooked spiral cut ham, glaze packet discarded
- Garnish: fresh kumquats, rosemary and parsley
Preparation
Step 1
preheat oven to 325. in a medium bowl, whisk together sugar, mustard, honey, pineapple juice and ground red pepper.
place ham in a roasting pan and drizzle with sugar mixture. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30mins. uncover and bake for 45 to 60mins longer, basting with pan drippings every 15mins. garnish with fresh kumquats, rosemary and parsley if desired.
