Ingredients
- 1 8oz package spaghetti
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 small onion sliced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 3 1/2 cups cooked diced chicken
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
Preparation
Step 1
cook spaghetti, drain set aside. Saute mushrooms and onions in butter in a large pan until tender. add flour, salt, poultry seasoning, pepper, stir well. cook 1 mins, stirring constantly. gradually add broth, cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly. add cream, and stir until smooth. add chicken. place 1/2 spag in greased 2 quart casserole pan. spoon 1/2 chicken mixture over spaghetti, repeat layers. bake uncovered at 350 for 20mins. sprinkle with cheese and put back five more mins.
you can also mix the pasta with all ingrdients in the sauce pan and transfer to baking dish and bake accordingly.
