SOURDOUGH STARTER

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • 100 g white bread flour
  • 1 Tbsp wheat flour
  • 120 g filtered water

Preparation

Step 1

Mix to combine, cover and allow setting 24-30 hrs overnight

After overnight continue with sour dough as follows

Add sourdough starter to larger bowl and begin your feeding process.

Add 100g filtered water and 100g of bread flour and mix well cover and allow to rest for 12 hrs

Allow another 6 hrs for rest at room temperature then ready to add 1st starter feed.

Add 300g of water and 300g flour and mix well then pour into container where it will live in your refrigerator and feed every Saturday morning.

*****TO FEED YOUR STARTER FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS******

REMOVE STARTER FROM REFRIGERATOR AND GIVE IT A QUICK STIR
TAKE OUT ABOUT A CUP OF STARTER AND REPLACE IT WITH EQUAL AMOUNTS OF FLOUR AND WATER AND A TEASPOON OF SUGAR OR HONEY AND DON'T FORGET TO STIR AFTER YOU POUR THE NEW MIX OF SOURDOUGH THEN PUT AWAY UNTIL NEXT SATURDAY.
