Marinated Vegetable Salad

A light dish which is a good accompanying dish with any meal.

Ingredients
- Salad:
- 1 can carrots
- 1 can French green beans
- 1 can Le Seur green peas
- 1 can whole kernel corn
- 1 red onion, sliced and separated
- 1 small jar chopped pimento
- 1 can water chestnuts
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- Marinade:
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2/3 cup vinegar
- 3/4 cup sugar 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Drain cans of vegetables thoroughly and combine in airtight container.( You may eliminate any vegetable not to your liking and substitute any other.)
Mix Marinade ingredients and incorporate well with vegetables. Best when chilled overnight.
