Ingredients
- 3 medium ripe pears, peeled and sliced
- 28 caramels (hersheys)
- 1.5 c water, divided
- 2 Tbs butter
- 1 package of yellow cake mix
- 1/3 c veggie oil
- 3 eggs
- whipped cream

Preparation
Step 1
Arrange pear slices in rows in a greased 13x9x2" baking dish, set aside. melt caramel in a sauce pan with .5c of water. stir in butter until smooth. Pour over pears. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, oil, eggs and remaining water. Beat on Medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour over thecaramel layer. bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until a tooth pick is clean. cool for 5 minutes before inverting onto platter.
