Ingredients

  • 1 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 medium 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 1 pound 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3 cups 3 cups chicken broth, divided
  • 1 cup 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 8 ounces 8 ounces Velveeta, cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • Cooking spray

Preparation

Step 1

Spray large skillet with cooking spray and add garlic, onion, and celery. Cook 5 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring frequently.

Place cooked vegetables into crockpot sprayed with cooking spray, then brown hamburger in skillet.

Add meat to crockpot.

In a small cup, combine flour and 1/2 cup broth, and stir until lump free. Pour into skillet.

Pour remaining broth into skillet, and bring to a simmer. Pour into crockpot.

Stir in milk, cheese, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Cover crockpot and cook on low for 2 hours. Do not overcook or cheese could separate.
