Ingredients

  • Coating:
  • 1 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c. melted butter/margarine
  • 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla or butter pecan flavoring
  • 1 c. coconut (7 oz)
  • 1/4 bar paraffin
  • 1 (12 oz) chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine powdered sugar, butter, sweetened milk, coconut, and flavoring.
2. Refrigerate dough until easy to handle with hands.
3. Roll dough into small balls size of quarters.
4. Place balls on waxed paper and freeze until ready to dip.
5. Melt chocolate chips and paraffin in a double boiler.
6. When melted spear frozen candy balls with a toothpick.
7. Dip balls into melted chocolate. Allow chocolate to drip off.
8. Place balls onto the sheet of waxed paper to set up.
9. Remove toothpick and cover hole with a drop of chocolate.
